Located on our 300-acre farm in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia, the Connected Athlete Retreats are the perfect environment to get connected and learn the TEDS system, which has been taught to hundreds of professional, collegiate and high-school athletes and coaches over the last 20 years.
The goal of the connected athlete program is to equip athletes and coaches with the tools to be able to not only enhance their athletic performance, but improve their quality of life.
Stress is by far the greatest limiting factor to all athletes & coaches. At TEDS, we use some of the most effective, most transformational stress elimination techniques to drastically lower mental, physical & emotional stress.
Every athlete is unique. This means a one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition is not ideal. Our team specializes in testing for your unique dietary needs to ensure you maximize your recovery and performance. All meals at the farm are 100% organic or chemical free from our own farm.

Start the morning off with powerful exercises to energize, rejuvenate and connect your joints, ligements, energy levels, mind, body & spirit.
After your morning exercises, enjoy a nutritious, 100% organic breakfast - typically a smoothie or fresh juice of some kind. During breakfast you will begin the teaching session for the day which can range from learning about stress elimination drills, breath-work, understanding how our emotions correlate to physical performance, functional physical training, the healing power of food, overcoming injuries and much, much more.
After your morning teaching session, you can enjoy a variety of fun activities, such as river tubing, paddle boarding on a local lake, mountain biking, swimming in the pond, hiking or simply relaxing.

The afternoon/evening sessions include workout/physical training, or 1-on-1 sessions with practitioners, such as chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, massage, energy clearings, active release and much more can be arranged.
We love to bring the farm to our table with fresh meals from our farm and other local suppliers. The evenings are a great time to review the day, have extra teaching, performance training or individualized treatments.
Each night there is a focused activity to give you the traditional camp feel. Finish the day with another healthy meal & a closing teaching session for the day.
